Dawn's relish for art bridges disciplines, through drawing, metalpoint drawing and painting. After studying post-graduate psychology, she realized a return to her first love, creativity. In 2012 she began studying classical oil painting techniques, in studio, with master painter Rosa Branson MBE, learning the methods and materials of the Old Masters. She is a member of 'The Worlington Movement', a collective of artists, whose intention is to keep alive the essence of traditional oil painting, sharing and promoting this knowledge. With a deep ardour for draughtsmanship, an attention to subtle detail, and a passion for jewel-like colours, she explores and expresses the intricacies of beauty, and the myriad cascades of the imagination.
